What is magnetic detectable filament?
The magnetic detectable PETG filament contains tiny particles that can be detected by the most common systems in the food industry aimed at this type of task. With its use, it is possible to prevent any type of plastic contamination within the production processes.
Its formulation allows it to be detected even when only very small particles are found.
In addition, the material is certified as suitable for contact with food.
Printing properties of inFil PETG MDT
The 3D PETG MDT filament has printing properties very similar to the standard PETG from 3DFILS. This means that you can use the same printing profiles. The main difference is its higher density, which makes the parts made with this filament more robust.

Color, weight and price of magnetic 3D filament Detectable
The PETG MDT filament is only manufactured in a greyish blue colour. This is because it is the most widely used colour within the food industry. This creates a great contrast between the material and the product, which makes it easier to visually detect the plastic.
Currently, we only manufacture this product in 1 kg format and 1.75 mm diameter, although other formats can be requested on request.
