abFil TPU 90A White

The antibacterial filament abFil TPU 90A is made in Spain and has antibacterial protection, certified with ISO 22196 , thanks to the incorporation of silver ions.

The eFil TPU 90A has excellent chemical resistance properties for both acids and bases, as well as a wide variety of solvents. It also has extreme resistance to abrasion, impacts and perforations and can resist temperatures up to 100ºC. On the other hand, it has a great adhesion , so that its printing does not present warping problems, even without using a hot bed or other fixing methods. This great adhesion gives a perfect bond between layers , which creates much more resistant pieces to tear.

Silver ions have 3 ways of acting on bacteria that ensure its effectiveness: they prevent bacterial growth, interfere with the production of enzymes, preventing the cell from producing energy, and interrupt the replication of its DNA

. The main advantage over other antibacterial technologies is that the silver ions become part of the part itself and it is not a coating. This gives a permanent protection to the piece without disappearing its effect over time.

Silver ions have a proven 99.99% efficiency in the inhibition of bacterial growth, offering protection against bacteria such as Aspergillus niger, Campylobacter, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Legionella, Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus Aureus or Salmonella enteritidis among others.

The 3DFils manufacturing process guarantees excellent quality , with a standard deviation of 0.01 mm and a maximum tolerance of 0.05 mm, which ensure smooth, jam-free printing. The ovality below 2% allows a more uniform application of layers, improving the final finish of the piece.
