 Furthermore, unlike other flame retardant filaments on the market, our PETG FRHF is completely halogen-free. Halogenated materials found in other filaments are dangerous to both people and the environment. Some of the problems caused by halogenated compounds include soil, water and air pollution. They are also harmful to the ozone layer.
 
This filament is as easy to print as PLA, but its mechanical properties are far superior . PETG is a polymer obtained from PET, the plastic used to manufacture bottles. The addition of Glycol modifies the properties of the polymer, making it easier to print, less fragile and more transparent . The coefficient of thermal expansion of PETG is very low, so it never experiences warping problems during printing.
 Unlike other materials, PETG has a greater tendency to leave threads in the prints, which must be combated with increased retraction and a decrease in printing temperature. When the material is printed correctly, you will get durable and resistant parts that can be used both indoors and outdoors .
