Furthermore, unlike other flame-retardant filaments on the market, our PETG FRHF is completely halogen-free. This filament is as easy to print as PLA, but its mechanical properties are far superior . PETG is a polymer derived from PET, the plastic used to make bottles. The addition of glycol modifies the polymer's properties, making it easier to print, less brittle, and more transparent . PETG has a very low coefficient of thermal expansion, so it never experiences warping issues during printing.

Unlike other materials, PETG has a greater tendency to leave strings in prints, which must be countered with increased shrinkage and a lower printing temperature. When printed correctly, the material will produce durable and resistant parts suitable for both indoor and outdoor use .
