Description
esFil PETG MAX filament is a PETG-based filament manufactured in Spain . PETG is the perfect material for 3D printing functional parts . PETG filament exhibits minimal warping , making it possible to print large items with it.
This filament is as easy to print as PLA, but its mechanical properties are far superior . PETG is a polymer derived from PET, the plastic used to make bottles. The addition of glycol modifies the polymer's properties, making it easier to print, less brittle, and more transparent . PETG has a very low coefficient of thermal expansion, so it never experiences warping issues during printing.
Unlike other materials, PETG has a greater tendency to leave strings in prints, which must be countered with increased shrinkage and a lower printing temperature. When printed correctly, the material will produce durable and resistant parts suitable for both indoor and outdoor use .

What type of parts is it especially recommended for?
Functional parts, housings, supports, large parts, components exposed to moisture or continuous use, and applications where PLA is not sufficient.
Is it more difficult to print than PLA ?
No. PETG requires a slightly higher temperature and a basic retraction setting, but once configured, it prints stably and predictably. It doesn't need enclosure or complex adjustments.
Are you having stringing problems?
PETG can produce stringing if the retraction is not adjusted, but with proper settings and a dry filament, the result is clean and controlled.
Does it warp or detach from the bed?
No. PETG offers excellent dimensional stability and very good bed adhesion, making it ideal for large parts without deformation.
